I've been trading since 1991. Somewhere in there I took a trade that paid for a year of wandering through Europe — where I met my wife, and where I figured out what trading was actually for.
After more than a decade coaching traders at Netpicks, I spun off Backpack Trader in 2018. The name is literal: a laptop, a backpack, no office. Thousands of students in over 100 countries have since learned that you don't need to be chained to a screen to trade well.
